SCARBOROUGH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY | NAOMI AND ROBIN: MARRIED
September 25, 2009Naomi and Robin planned their wedding from afar, not scrimping on the details at all, and everything came together to create the perfect day. Their reception was held in a marquee at Naomi’s parents stunning house near Scarborough, and both of them looked drop dead gorgeous!
These beautiful horses were from Black Horses, captured here by my wonderful assistant Kylie!
Is that a receiving line with good light?! No, it’s can’t be. But it is!
To see more of their wedding photography there is a slideshow, and all of their photographs are in an online gallery. The password is their new surname, all in lowercase letters.
Naomi and Robin, I hope you had an amazing minimoon and got back to Australia safely. It was lovely to meet you and your families!
Jo: These are GORGEOUS!!!!
neil: Beautiful really beautiful!
Peter Lawson: This looks like a fabulous wedding, the details are all amazing and obviously the photography is great too! My favourites are the shot as the little bridesmaids are walking in (awesome moment), and portrait of the bride by the wall.
Phillip Allen: Just ... wow! They certainly know how to do it in style in Yorkshire (and how to photograph it with style too!)
James Pearson: Absolutely beautiful wedding and stunning photographs! I love the young bridesmaids entering the church - gorgeous!
Lisa Aldersley: These are gorgeous Rebecca. Naomi is stunning.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY YORKSHIRE | SARAH AND ANDREW: MARRIED
September 15, 2009I had the honour of being a guest and a photographer at Sarah and Andy’s wedding, so some of the later shots may be a little wonky ;-)
Sarah and Andy had a really informal, intimate wedding ceremony at Wolfen Mill, followed by a BBQ in a gorgeous, country fete style marquee. There was bunting, cupcakes, a sweetie station, and champagne with hibiscus flowers. It was perfect!

Sarah got Andy these cufflinks as a wedding gift….guess what time they got married?!
The gorgeous flowers are by Twisted Willow. I love the blue hydrangeas and the butterflies.
Amazing scrumptious cupcake station! They taste as good as they look. Check out Sweet Sugar Sixpence to get some of your own!

Look at this little cutie having a rest during the speeches:

Love you both Sarah and Andy! x
PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY YORKSHIRE | JOE
September 10, 2009Laura Lawson: What a cool dude! The second shot is my favourite, the crop and the way his hair draws attention to the eyes is awesome!
Simon Fazackarley: Fab! Full of attitude =) Great work!! I wish my hair looked that cool when I was young =)
Susie: You've really brought out his lovely eyes. Super shots of a very nice-looking young man.
Emma Cake: Amazing how you've managed to bring out so many different traits of Joe's personality in every shot. The second image is *very* Danny Zuko. But I doubt Joe's ever heard of him ;)
LETTERPRESS BUSINESS CARDS
September 7, 2009I love love LOVE my business cards, which were designed and made by Invited Ink. They are letterpressed, with rounded corners and a custom duplexed back in my signature colour, hot pink. I love them so much I don’t want to give them away, which may defeat the object a little ;-)
I was thrilled to find out they have been featured on 3 websites that showcase unsual and creative business cards, Best Design Options, Card Observer, and Business Card 24. It’s good to know I’m not the only one that loves them!
In case you haven’t seen them yet (and you’re not likely to, I’m hanging onto these babies!!) here they are:
Peter Lawson: They look amazing! I'm so jealous!
James Pearson: Very nice indeed! I look forward to seeing them in the flesh.
Hayley Oats: I have seen and touched one of these for real and I can completely understand why you want to hang onto them they are even more georgeous in real life!
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY DEVONSHIRE ARMS | ELIN AND ROB: MARRIED
September 2, 2009Elin and Rob are huge fans of the big outdoors, and choose their venue accordingly. They married at the Devonshire Arms, which lies nestled in the Yorkshire Dales and surrounded by gorgeous scenery.
The bouquets were by The Secret Garden, and these necklaces were made by Elin’s friend Diana, of Silver and Sparkle as gifts for the bridesmaids. Elin choose real leaves and they were coated with silver to make these really stunning, unusual and totally unique necklaces:
Elin’s gorgeous dress was by Ava Rose Hamilton:
James captured Rob looking pensive before the ceremony:
A last check:
James also caught this super cute photo:
A big thank you to James Pearson who traveled all the way from Scotland with his wife and a brand new baby to second shoot with me, thanks James!
