Georgina and Johnathan are the type of people you feel instantly comfortable with. They are friendly, down to earth, funny, and a perfect match for each other.
Their wedding reception was held at Wood Hall, one of my favourite venues in Yorkshire to photograph at!
There is also a slideshow of theirwedding photography, and an online gallery. The password is their married surname, all in lowercase letters.
Georgina and Johnathan, I loved meeting you both and your wedding was fab! x
Stu Cooper: Hi Rebecca. These shots are great! I love the car, it makes the images look really and stylish, especially with the vintage toning - really cool stuff!
James Pearson: Absolutely beautiful light in the church; the two images where Georgina is highlighted are gorgeous! I really LOVE the last one too - the composition is excellent. Fantastic work as always.
Allyson and John looked forward excitedly to their wedding day, and at last it came. Blue skies and lovely light came with it, it was one of the nicest day’s I have ever seen up in moody Wensleydale. They married in Aysgarth Church, and had their reception at the beautiful Simonstone Hall.
I truly think Rebecca smiled the whole day, she has an amazing grin and I didn’t see it leave her face. Just looking at these photos makes me smile back, in remembarance of what great fun Rebecca and Ben are.
Rebecca and Ben had their wedding reception at one of my all time favourite venues, Goldsborough Hall.
Married!
Rebecca’s very talented Mum made this cake FROM SCRATCH! And no, she isn’t a cake designer!
Anne and Matthew chose one of the windiest days I can remember to get married, but the wedding went smoothly despite it, and Anne’s veil managed to stay in remarkably well!! Anne got ready in the gorgeous penthouse suite at The White Bear in Masham, and after a church wedding Anne and Matthew returned for their reception.
We did most of the couple shots inside due to the wind, but then we just had to go outside for a dramatic windy veil shot. This one is Kylie’s and I love it, it’s shows what great fun Anne and Matthew are and her hair shows how windy it was!
To see more of their wedding, there is a slideshow and an online gallery. Their password is their new surname, all in lowercase letters.
Anne and Matthew, I hope you had an amazing honeymoon! Your wedding was a pleasure to photograph x
I was thrilled when Rebecca and Edward’s beautiful wedding at The Star Inn Harome was chosen to be a featured wedding in the Wedding and Lifestyle show guide. Rebecca and Edward had gorgeous weather for their wedding last September, and both of them looked stunning!
Last week, a group of photographers who met through the [b] school and the Randall Photography Network, went to Blackpool for a work outing (as we all work for ourselves we don’t usually get work days out)! We stayed the night so we could enjoy the Blackpool hospitality to the full ;-)
The agenda was loosely adhered to as we all excitedly discussed albums, marketing, websites etc etc, over very cheap wine that was all we seemed to be able to find. It was a photography geeks dream.
After the afternoon’s chat, we headed out to the beach for a bit of a play with our cameras.
These are from Barnaby’s blog, the first one is of Barnaby himself, one third of the trio that makes up 3b media. The other two are Rob Booker and Phil Barber.
Chris MacKenzie: Wow - Look at all those crazy people. Looks like Laura stole the limelight. Though I love the image of Stewart trying to figure out which way to turn the camera after being at Yates for 4 hours. The Jammy Dodgers and the Biscuiteers also get a big thumbs up. It's amazing how many Yorkshire photographers got together to take photographs on that beach in Blackpool.
Phillip Allen: I really enjoyed looking in through the window at your meet up :~) Some fab photos in there, and the video!
James Pearson: Great photos and summary of a fantastic get together! Glad to see you got some superb images considering you volunteered to be a light stand (or should that be lighting director!?) for Stewart for so long down on the beach!! ;-)
It's a real pleasure to know you and everyone else, can't wait for the next meet!
mark byrne: Great pictures Rebecca, really nice to meet you. Thanks for sharing these and the video too ! I'd have missed that.
Mark
Laura Lawson: Ahhh good times! I LOVE the shot you got of me :-) Can't wait to hang out again soon! x
Sarah and Chris had a gorgeous, intimate and rustic wedding ceremony and reception at the York Maze. I hadn’t photographed a wedding there before, but I was glad they asked me too! It’s full of rustic charm, they married in a barn with their own handmade bunting hanging from the ceiling (even Chris was chained to the sewing machine for a while!). PapaKata have a permanent Tipi set up which is perfect for a wedding, I just love photographing weddings in PapaKata tipi’s!
Sarah and Chris had made the entrance to York Maze really pretty and personal:
Luckily the animals stayed out of the way for the wedding, but I couldn’t resist taking their photograph!
Inside the PapaKata Tipi:
A sweetie station, I love them!
Sarah and Chris made their own photobooth with props, what a great idea:
