Sarah and Chris had a gorgeous, intimate and rustic wedding ceremony and reception at the York Maze. I hadn’t photographed a wedding there before, but I was glad they asked me to! It’s full of rustic charm, they married in a barn with their own handmade bunting hanging from the ceiling (even Chris was chained to the sewing machine for a while!). PapaKata have a permanent Tipi set up which is perfect for a wedding, I just love photographing weddings in PapaKata tipi’s!
Sarah and Chris had made the entrance to York Maze really pretty and personal:
Luckily the animals stayed out of the way for the wedding, but I couldn’t resist taking their photograph!
Inside the PapaKata Tipi:
A sweetie station, I love them!
Sarah and Chris made their own photobooth with props, what a great idea:
To see more, there is a wedding photography slideshow of their York Maze and PapaKata wedding, and an online photography gallery. Their password is their married surname, all in lowercase letters.
Sarah and Chris, it was lovely getting to know you both and you chose a perfect venue for your wedding. Hope you had an amazing honeymoon! x

Lovely stuff Rebecca. I love the fun you have captured. One of my favourites is your assistant photographer.
