Claire and Gareth are one of those couples who are instantly likeable – I challenge anyone not to love them straight away! Claire’s enthusiasm for the wedding shone through, no detail was left unturned with the result that their wedding was stunning and packed full of thoughtful, personal touches. Claire and Gareth married at The Old Swan in Harrogate, in a lovely, sunlit room.
Claire told me at the engagement shoot that she wasn’t photogenic. I disagree!
Claire is something of a golf whizz, she won a scholarship to America and went to University there. Gareth waited patiently (or maybe not so patiently!), and his girl eventually came home. Claire’s Mum gave her these personalised golf shoes as a wedding present, in the wedding colours:
I love the purple shoes and socks!
This is Claire’s Grandmother and Grandfather’s wedding album. Gorgeous!
Claire and Gareth included photographs of parents and grandparents on their wedding days, a lovely personal touch and a great way of including family members who are no longer with us, or unable to make the wedding.
Claire and Gareth are not big fans of cake, but love cheesecake! 4 family members made different cheesecakes to make up their completely unique and very unusual wedding cake:
To see more of Claire and Gareth’s wedding, you can see a wedding photography slideshow of their wedding highlights, and all of their photographs are in an online gallery. Their password is their new surname.
Claire and Gareth, I hope you enjoy these photographs, I know you’ve been waiting impatiently! x
