I went to school with James, we used to go on school trips together and hung out in the sixth form common room. As a result, I already have lots of embarrassing photos of him (luckily, he has lost any he might have had of me!). He and his lovely fiance Lauren are getting married in November at the lovely Dodmoor House in Northamptonshire, and are planning a relaxed, party like wedding. I’m really looking forward to it, not only to see Lauren looking stunning in her dress, but to see lots of old faces from school!

He’s turned out OK hasn’t he – and done pretty well for himself?!

Carrie: They're amazing Rebecca - I thought I had a favourite, then kept on scrolling down, they're all brilliant. First favourite was the right hand side of the 2 portrait ones (Lauren looks beautiful!), then second favourite was holding hands looking straight on. They're gonna be a stunning Bride and Groom!

Mike Galley: Great set of images Rebecca if I had to pick favourites I would go for number 3 love the happy natural smile on Laurens face & I love the last one great work.

neil: great shots 'sis' - love the lot, couldn't 'favourite if i tried' :)

Alyson and Matthew have chosen an amazing venue to get married – the michelin starred Star at Harome, near Helmsley in North Yorkshire. If you love great food and quirky, intimate venues, The Star may just be for you. And for the boys, the bridal suite even has a pool table in it. Not that you’d use it for pool ;-)

I loved that Alyson co-ordinated so well – gorgeous pillar box red lipstick, shoes and nails. Lovely!

Carrie: Fab photos Rebecca - love the one against the wall the best - that texture is great! As you say amazing red lips and shoes!

Sally and Dan are getting married in just over a month in Leeds, and I had great fun with them getting these shots at their engagement session. They are off on safari for their honeymoon so we have been chatting about cameras and lenses, but really I think they need to take me with them as their official photographer ;-)

Caroline and Erik are getting married at the wonderful Star at Harome in North Yorkshire in October, and I met them for the first time a few weeks ago to shoot their engagement session. After hearing about their wedding, seeing Caroline’s amazing taste in shoes and jewellery, and even getting a sneak peak at her wedding dress, I’m almost wishing the summer away so that their wedding comes around more quickly! I can just tell that their wedding will be stunning, unusual, and packed with details. Basically, a perfect wedding to photograph!

I just love Newby Hall for it’s gardens and wonderful calming atmosphere, and love having couples here for their engagement sessions. Claire and Gareth came over last week, and, despite telling me that they are not photogenic, proved the complete opposite! They are getting married in July in Harrogate, and I for one can’t wait to see Claire in her dress.

Jennifer: Gorgeous pre-wedding shoot and Newby Hall is such a fab location.

Stu Cooper: These are beautiful images Rebecca. The lighting is gorgeous and I love the natural feel to them. Simply stunning.

Shaman and Carlton are getting married in a few weeks at the lovely Wood Hall in Wetherby, I’m really looking forward to it as the grounds are so lovely and I can’t wait to see Shaman in her dress!

They came over to Newby Hall for their engagement session, late last Sunday evening. They were running a little late after a meeting at Wood Hall, but as it turned out they actually timed it perfectly. The light was AMAZING! You just can’t beat evening light like this. So romantic!

Susie: Gorgeous! Lovely light as you say and great romantic feel to them.

Carrie: beautiful light yes indeed - love the last one through the arch!

Hazel: Gorgeous light in deed.. wish we could always shoot in such lovely conditions! Third from last is my favourite.. they clearly had a fun time.

Dom and Chris are getting married on Saturday at the fabulous Goldsborough Hall, and they came to Newby Hall for their engagement session a few weeks ago. I’m looking forward to their wedding on Saturday and hoping for a nice day!

The gardens here at Newby are amazing for portraits. There are so many secret nooks and hiding places that are just great for engagement photographs (or any other portraits for that matter!). And for the brave among you, there is a little train as well ;-)

Stu Cooper: Great images Rebecca. I'm sur eyou'll do a great job at the wedding.

Stefan and Jacqui are having a small, intimate wedding at the fabulous Swinton Park in a couple of weeks time, and we met there for their engagement photographs. They had their gorgeous son Louis with them, who was so cute he ended up stealing the show.

Swinton Park is a romantic, fairytale wedding venue in Yorkshire, and is a dream for a wedding photographer!

Susie: Lovely family shots. I love the ones where they're all wrapped up. Sure it will be a fab winter wedding.

Jim: Wonderful Rebecca, if they're smiling that much now, the wedding shots will be just fabulous - cant wait to see them. jx

Looking at these photos of Rebecca and Ben makes me smile, because they both have infectious grins and are really down to earth, and are just great company. We met up a Brimham Rocks to take their engagement photographs, which is full of nooks and crannys called out to be photographed.

Georgina and Jonathan’s wedding is at the fab Wood Hall Hotel in a few weeks, and we met up at Temple Newsham for their engagement shoot. Despite not being too keen on having their photographs taken, they look very comfortable in front of the camera and are both very photogenic!

Susie: Lovely shots! They do look great and I love your processing. Can't wait to see the wedding.

neil: cool - they look like they'll be a fun couple to photo on the big day!

Laura Lawson: These are fantastic! They don't look nervous in front of the camera at all, great practice for the big day!

Leah Haydock: Beautiful images, the close up black and white of your bride is stunning. You captured great interaction. Good luck with the Santa Suit shopping

James Pearson: These are wonderful - they look amazing, I would never have thought they were not keen on having their photos taken; they look really natural and very photogenic! I really love the second last image - absolutely beautiful.
