BABY PHOTOGRAPHER YORKSHIRE | SAM

How cute is Sam?! He came in with his yummy mummy for the first of his ‘Watch them Grow’ baby portrait sessions a little while ago and made a fine model!

I’m getting lots of practice with babies recently, and my little girl is due in just under 3 weeks, eek! I’m excited but still can’t quite imagine actually having a baby, despite my huge bump.

I’ll be on maternity leave until June but if you’re expecting a baby (or if a friend is – it’s a fab and unusual present) and are interested in the ‘Watch them Grow’ scheme please give me a call. It includes three mini portrait sessions for your baby during their first year, or you can swap a session for some bump portraits if you prefer. You then have a lovely collection of images as a keepsake of those precious and all too fleeting moments!

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER YORKSHIRE | BUMP PHOTOGRAPHS

I’m just posting a few maternity photographs of this lovely lady and her bump – and I’m very pleased to report that she is now a very proud mummy to a beautiful little girl!

If you’re interested in maternity photographs, please get in touch. Not everyone is as brave as this yummy mummy, if you’d rather cover up a bit more then don’t worry, I will be led by you on how much you dare to bare. Lot’s of mummies to be go for the ‘bump to babies’ package, which includes photographs of your bump and then two photography sessions once your little one arrives, usually when s/he is around a month old and again at six months.

I’m going to have some bump photographs done myself, I must admit I feel a bit fat and lumpy but I know I’ll regret it if I don’t! It will be lovely to have some photographs to show my little girl when she’s a bit bigger, and I’m sure in no time I will have forgotten what I was like with a bump…I may even miss it a little.

These gorgeous girls came over for a portrait photography session a few weeks ago and were little angels! We got some lovely autumnal portraits and we’re planning another summer session next year so they can come back with their summer clothes and a tan. A lot of these portraits are being made into an album as a keepsake – in candy pink of course ;-)

I met the lovely Borchardt family at the Great Yorkshire Show, and they came for their portrait photography session a couple of weeks ago. PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY NEWBY HALL YORKSHIRE | SUE, ELLIE AND ANGUS

Sue, Ellie and Angus were great fun to photograph. They came to Newby Hall and we went outside into the grounds to capture some relaxed and natural portraits, with Angus chattering all the way through! They were very obliging and very photogenic, the perfect family!

Look at their gorgeous blue eyes and curly hair:

Their main final product is a montage for Sue’s office, looking a lot like the one below. A square frame with nine images is a perfect way of presenting a collection, and means you can have the best of both worlds with your favourite photographs included:

Now that I based at Newby Hall near Harrogate I’m photographing more and more families and children – the gardens and grounds are perfect for family portraits. I loved photographing this family, the girls looked so pretty in their beautiful dresses and we had the most wonderful weather, although it was a bit hot! Mum had done a great job of co-ordinating the outfits and the whole family looked picture perfect. The girls knew how lovely they looked and were very good at posing for the camera ;-)

BABY PHOTOGRAPHER YORKSHIRE | FRANCIS

Now that I have a little studio at Newby Hall, I am photographing more and more cute babies. Francis was a little star, he’s a very happy little chap and was quite prepared to be photographed! This is the first of his ‘Watch Them Grow’ sessions – in this scheme babies are photographed when they are a month or two old, then again at about 7 months when they can sit up, and lastly when they are around a year old. It’s great for me getting to know the babies and seeing how much they change, and Mum and Dad get a lasting reminder of their babies first year.

YORKSHIRE PHOTOGRAPHER | CUPCAKES GALORE!

I was very excited to move into a brand new photography studio at Newby Hall on 1st March, and to celebrate invited lots of lovely people to join me for champagne and cupcakes! I’m very proud to say that I made them myself (and so far, noone has complained of food poisoning, but maybe they are just too polite…..)

NEWBORN BABY PORTRAITS YORKSHIRE | KEEGAN

Little Keegan was born three weeks early, so when I photographed him at two weeks old, he should have still been in Mummy’s tummy. I think he is the smallest baby I’ve even held, yet alone photographed! You can see for yourself how cute he is:

I’m now offering a ‘Watch Them Grow’ program for new babies, with three mini portrait photography sessions over the course of their first year. I will photograph them in the studio at Newby Hall when they are newborn, six months old, and then again at one year. It’s amazing how much babies change in their first year, and what better way to document it?! Each photography session will last for 30 minutes, and the whole program will cost £125. I have the exclusive use of their stunning grounds for child, family and couple portraits, and baby photographs will take place in the studio.
