Jacqueline and Stefan had a very small, intimate wedding at the gorgeous Swinton Park just before Christmas. It was snowy and beautiful, and they braved the cold to have some of their photographs outside.

Swinton Park is one of Yorkshire’s most romantic and grand wedding venues, and it is unique in that it is set in hundreds of acres of gorgeous parkland, which is just amazing for photographs. It was too cold to venture far, but the castle looked even more like it was from a fairytale topped with snow.

Santa had to make an appearance in at least one of the photographs….

……but it wasn’t long before Jacqueline cracked up. Stefan joked that as Germans they should be serious. After meeting Jacqueline I will never again believe that!

Little Louis, their extremely cute 2 year old son, had to make an appearance too. And now that the secret it out, I can tell you that he will be joined by a brother or sister in May, so double congratulations are in order!

Susie: They look like a lovely fun couple. Gorgeous festive romantic shots.

Stu Cooper: These are beautiful pictures Rebecca. The snow makes the images look so romantic and I love the vintage look on the image of the little boy. They must be thrilled!

They say that you are connected to everyone by six degrees of separation. To cut a long (and probably boring!) story short, I ended up photographing Lucy and Alex’s wedding after being recommended by a friend, who turned out to be Lucy’s Aunt, who turned out to be my husband’s friend’s wife, who had lived two doors down from our cottage in a village no one has heard of about 30 years ago. Oh, and I went to school with Lucy.

Anyway, after thankfully connecting, I photographed Lucy and Alex’s lovely humanist ceremony at Holdenby House in Northamptonshire at the beginning of December. Lucy had paid massive attention to detail, using Holdenby House’s connection with falconry and hunting as inspiration. The result was tweed, game and peacock feathers, and an awful lot of prettiness! We had to fight the quickly setting sun, as they married at 3pm, and the whole wedding had a wonderful, warm feeling.

Huge thanks to Hayley Ruth who second shot for me and caught these first two photographs:

Susie: Lovely wintry wedding shots. I particularly love the shoes and Hayley's details. Can't believe you got the bride to sit on a toilet! Good job she's gorgeous and could get away with it. Great work as always Rebecca (and Hayley).

Rima: Stunning images, love the candid portrait of the bride on the loo!

When I was asked by Rock My Wedding if they could feature Naomi and Robin’s gorgeous wedding on their blog, I was thrilled. I have been a fan of Rock My Wedding for a while now, and if you are planning a wedding and love all things pretty, you must go there NOW! You will find plenty of inspiration, but, be warned, you will be hooked.

Georgina and Johnathan are the type of people you feel instantly comfortable with. They are friendly, down to earth, funny, and a perfect match for each other.

Their wedding reception was held at Wood Hall, one of my favourite venues in Yorkshire to photograph at!

Stu Cooper: Hi Rebecca. These shots are great! I love the car, it makes the images look really and stylish, especially with the vintage toning - really cool stuff!

James Pearson: Absolutely beautiful light in the church; the two images where Georgina is highlighted are gorgeous! I really LOVE the last one too - the composition is excellent. Fantastic work as always.

Allyson and John looked forward excitedly to their wedding day, and at last it came. Blue skies and lovely light came with it, it was one of the nicest day’s I have ever seen up in moody Wensleydale. They married in Aysgarth Church, and had their reception at the beautiful Simonstone Hall.

I truly think Rebecca smiled the whole day, she has an amazing grin and I didn’t see it leave her face. Just looking at these photos makes me smile back, in remembarance of what great fun Rebecca and Ben are.

Rebecca and Ben had their wedding reception at one of my all time favourite venues, Goldsborough Hall.

Rima: Your images are beautiful so clean and stylish

Alex Davies: Oh my gosh, that cake is immense! :)

Anne and Matthew chose one of the windiest days I can remember to get married, but the wedding went smoothly despite it, and Anne’s veil managed to stay in remarkably well!! Anne got ready in the gorgeous penthouse suite at The White Bear in Masham, and after a church wedding Anne and Matthew returned for their reception.

Anne’s gorgeous dress was from Paradise Grove:

We did most of the couple shots inside due to the wind, but then we just had to go outside for a dramatic windy veil shot. This one is Kylie’s and I love it, it’s shows what great fun Anne and Matthew are and her hair shows how windy it was!

Alex Davies: Beautiful pictures

Sarah and Chris had a gorgeous, intimate and rustic wedding ceremony and reception at the York Maze. I hadn’t photographed a wedding there before, but I was glad they asked me too! It’s full of rustic charm, they married in a barn with their own handmade bunting hanging from the ceiling (even Chris was chained to the sewing machine for a while!). PapaKata have a permanent Tipi set up which is perfect for a wedding, I just love photographing weddings in PapaKata tipi’s!

Sarah and Chris had made the entrance to York Maze really pretty and personal:

Luckily the animals stayed out of the way for the wedding, but I couldn’t resist taking their photograph!

Laura Lawson: Beautiful stuff Rebecca! The detail shots are just amazing, I love this wedding!

Chris MacKenzie: Lovely stuff Rebecca. I love the fun you have captured. One of my favourites is your assistant photographer.

Erin: Such a cute wedding. I love the farm feel. Great job!

Naomi and Robin planned their wedding from afar, not scrimping on the details at all, and everything came together to create the perfect day. Their reception was held in a marquee at Naomi’s parents stunning house near Scarborough, and both of them looked drop dead gorgeous!

Jo: These are GORGEOUS!!!!

neil: Beautiful really beautiful!

Peter Lawson: This looks like a fabulous wedding, the details are all amazing and obviously the photography is great too! My favourites are the shot as the little bridesmaids are walking in (awesome moment), and portrait of the bride by the wall.

Phillip Allen: Just ... wow! They certainly know how to do it in style in Yorkshire (and how to photograph it with style too!)

James Pearson: Absolutely beautiful wedding and stunning photographs! I love the young bridesmaids entering the church - gorgeous!

Lisa Aldersley: These are gorgeous Rebecca. Naomi is stunning.
