Natasha and Paul chose the gorgeous setting of Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire to get married, and they couldn’t have picked a better venue. If you have seen The Duchess starring Kiera Knightly and Ralf Fiennes you may well recognise it – it was the grand setting for the film (I haven’t seen it, but it’s now on my ‘must see’ list!).

A massive thank you to the fabulous Jennifer Clare who came along as the second photographer. Jennifer is the master of candid photographs and took some really amazing photos on the day. Thank you Jen!

A vintage bus transported most of the guests to and from the venue:

Natasha got ready at the nearby Blenheim House Hotel:

Emma Davenport: Wow! Love the lighting during the ceremony. The whole day looks so chic and classic and what a gorgeous venue. That last shot is a beauty.

Jennifer: Thanks for the big build up Rebecca ;-) It really was a fabulous day in every way - thanks for allowing me to tag along!

James Pearson: Beautiful wedding and gorgeous photos taken by two of the finest photographers - a wonderful duo! I adore the ceremony shot above; beautiful light as Emma mentioned, and the room looks stunning in the slideshow. There are so many gorgeous photos in the slideshow it must have been hard to decide what to blog!

Shaman and Carlton choose the wonderful Wood Hall for their wedding venue, and I’m sure they were glad they did! It’s set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside near Leeds, and has everything you need for an amazing wedding – impressive building, gorgeous grounds, and luxurious service. The food is fantastic too – I know because Shaman and Carlton very kindly treated us to a 3 course dinner!

Look at Shaman’s shoes – who can resist a pair of Jimmy Choos?!

Hello gorgeous! Shaman’s friend and bridesmaid actually made her dress, from scratch! It started as a sill high school pact and turned into reality, and an amazing, completely unique dress.

After the ceremony the coolest of VW campers from Liberty Campers transported the bride and groom to Wood Hall. I am a VW fan – I used to have a 1969 beetle in the same turquoise as this one, and I have to admit I was drooling!

Stu Cooper: Amazing images Rebecca, this looks like a beautiful wedding and you've done such a great job. The shoes are pretty cool too!

Dominique and Chris had a wonderful wedding at the gorgeous Goldsborough Hall. The weather was not as kind as they might have hoped, but needs sunshine when you have a venue as nice as Goldsborough?!

The bridesmaids dresses looked as stunning off the bridesmaids as on them!

Carrie: fab pictures Rebecca - what a gorgeous couple - loving the one of them on the windowsill!

HayleyRuth: Beautiful images Rebecca, a gorgeous couple and venue too! I love the window sill one too!

Mike Galley: Great images Rebecca at my favourite venue, love the moment you captured between Mum & Daughter and the couple sat on the window-sill

I was very excited to move into a brand new photography studio at Newby Hall on 1st March, and to celebrate invited lots of lovely people to join me for champagne and cupcakes! I’m very proud to say that I made them myself (and so far, noone has complained of food poisoning, but maybe they are just too polite…..)

Here is my cupcake station, complete with photography slideshow on my iMac:

I had my very own personalised cupcake flags:

Jacqueline and Stefan had a very small, intimate wedding at the gorgeous Swinton Park just before Christmas. It was snowy and beautiful, and they braved the cold to have some of their photographs outside.

Swinton Park is one of Yorkshire’s most romantic and grand wedding venues, and it is unique in that it is set in hundreds of acres of gorgeous parkland, which is just amazing for photographs. It was too cold to venture far, but the castle looked even more like it was from a fairytale topped with snow.

Santa had to make an appearance in at least one of the photographs….

……but it wasn’t long before Jacqueline cracked up. Stefan joked that as Germans they should be serious. After meeting Jacqueline I will never again believe that!

Little Louis, their extremely cute 2 year old son, had to make an appearance too. And now that the secret it out, I can tell you that he will be joined by a brother or sister in May, so double congratulations are in order!

Susie: They look like a lovely fun couple. Gorgeous festive romantic shots.

Stu Cooper: These are beautiful pictures Rebecca. The snow makes the images look so romantic and I love the vintage look on the image of the little boy. They must be thrilled!

They say that you are connected to everyone by six degrees of separation. To cut a long (and probably boring!) story short, I ended up photographing Lucy and Alex’s wedding after being recommended by a friend, who turned out to be Lucy’s Aunt, who turned out to be my husband’s friend’s wife, who had lived two doors down from our cottage in a village no one has heard of about 30 years ago. Oh, and I went to school with Lucy.

Anyway, after thankfully connecting, I photographed Lucy and Alex’s lovely humanist ceremony at Holdenby House in Northamptonshire at the beginning of December. Lucy had paid massive attention to detail, using Holdenby House’s connection with falconry and hunting as inspiration. The result was tweed, game and peacock feathers, and an awful lot of prettiness! We had to fight the quickly setting sun, as they married at 3pm, and the whole wedding had a wonderful, warm feeling.

Huge thanks to Hayley Ruth who second shot for me and caught these first two photographs:

Susie: Lovely wintry wedding shots. I particularly love the shoes and Hayley's details. Can't believe you got the bride to sit on a toilet! Good job she's gorgeous and could get away with it. Great work as always Rebecca (and Hayley).

Rima: Stunning images, love the candid portrait of the bride on the loo!

When I was asked by Rock My Wedding if they could feature Naomi and Robin’s gorgeous wedding on their blog, I was thrilled. I have been a fan of Rock My Wedding for a while now, and if you are planning a wedding and love all things pretty, you must go there NOW! You will find plenty of inspiration, but, be warned, you will be hooked.

I know, I know, it’s that time of year again. How does it always manage to creep up on us? Well, there’s no avoiding it, so it’s time to get into the festive spirit! So, grab a mince pie and some mulled wine and start thinking Christmas cards….

Following the success of the thank you cards, I am also offering Christmas cards this year. At just £2 each, they are great value and a fantastic way of saying a personalised Merry Christmas to family and friends.

There are three designs to choose from, and colours can be adapted if necessary. Simply choose your design and a photograph, email me with your choice, and I will do the rest. Please note order deadline is 30th November 2009.

Georgina and Johnathan are the type of people you feel instantly comfortable with. They are friendly, down to earth, funny, and a perfect match for each other, so their wedding was wonderful to photograph.

Stu Cooper: Hi Rebecca. These shots are great! I love the car, it makes the images look really and stylish, especially with the vintage toning - really cool stuff!

James Pearson: Absolutely beautiful light in the church; the two images where Georgina is highlighted are gorgeous! I really LOVE the last one too - the composition is excellent. Fantastic work as always.
