I took the last of Francis’ “Watch Them Grow” portraits last Autumn – I still find it incredible how much a baby changes in it’s first year. When babies are about one they are a pleasure to photograph, their little characters are clear to see and they are cheeky and funny. Francis was no exception, he’s grown into a very sweet, inquisitive little man!

If you’re interested in booking a baby or child portrait photography session, or a ‘Watch Them Grow’ scheme (three photography sessions over the course of a babies first year) then please get in touch! You can contact me by clicking on the button directly below this post.

Time flies by so fast, it’s hard to believe that I first photographed Sam as a three month old baby a year ago. He’s now walking and into everything, keeping his Mum and Grandma on their toes!  His Mum brought him over for his third and final portrait from his ‘Watch Them Grow’ series on a lovely November day, and he enjoyed exploring my garden.  He was a prefect little model – and the first portrait I’ve had in my own garden since moving back home from Newby Hall.  I’ll be doing more of these, so I think plenty of gardening is on the agenda for this year.  Best get hubby out there with the lawnmower!

Sam grew rather a lot last year:

A massive thank you to the fabulous Susie Lawrence for taking some bump photos for me! Although I feel a bit fat (and have a double chin!) I’m really glad I had some maternity photos taken. I’m sure in no time I’ll forget what I looked like with a bump, they will be a lovely keepsake and I’ll be able to show my baby how I looked too!

Most of these were taken on Monday, when I was 39 weeks and 5 days, at Newby Hall. My baby was due yesterday so could arrive at any time!

I wasn’t sure whether to post this one, but Mums I’ve photographed in the past have let me post photos of them, so I don’t want to by hypocritical and decided to be brave!

Please bear with me if I’m a little slow to answer your calls and emails over the next few months. I’ll post some baby photos as soon as I can!

I’m just posting a few maternity photographs of this lovely lady and her bump – and I’m very pleased to report that she is now a very proud mummy to a beautiful little girl!

If you’re interested in maternity photographs, please get in touch. Not everyone is as brave as this yummy mummy, if you’d rather cover up a bit more then don’t worry, I will be led by you on how much you dare to bare. Lot’s of mummies to be go for the ‘bump to babies’ package, which includes photographs of your bump and then two photography sessions once your little one arrives, usually when s/he is around a month old and again at six months.

I’m going to have some bump photographs done myself, I must admit I feel a bit fat and lumpy but I know I’ll regret it if I don’t! It will be lovely to have some photographs to show my little girl when she’s a bit bigger, and I’m sure in no time I will have forgotten what I was like with a bump…I may even miss it a little.
